  • I have 27 years experience as a professional counsellor qualified to work with adult clients from diverse backgrounds and covering a broad range of issues


  • I am a Registered Member of BACP
    [one of the largest professional bodies for counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK, and ensures that all its members are appropriately trained and qualified]


  • I have specialist training in couple / relationship / marital work, parent and family issues, eating disorders, anxiety, abuse, and ex-boarders for those who have struggled with their boarding school experience


  • I am DBS checked


  • I have a private practice, and also work with also work with a Community counselling agency, Employment Assistance Programmes [EAPs], GPs, Staff groups and Management teams


  • I am an Accredited Parent Educator with over 20 years experience


  • I help Parents, carers, grandparents, step families Parents have self referred or are been referred from the Voluntary and Statutory sectors, including parents living with ADHD and Autism, parents of young offenders, involved with Children's Services, CAMHS [Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service] and Schools


  • I chair the local Parenting Forum which provides vital links connections and networking opportunities across the Voluntary and Statutory sectors for the benefit of families


  • I train Parent Facilitators


  • I train pupils to become Peer Mentors


  • I have been a Children's Centre Governor and on the management of the local Home-Start
